CRESCENT COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
5 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. water
2 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar, vanilla and water. Sift flour and salt together and stir into mixture. Add pecans and mix thoroughly.

Roll dough into balls, walnut size and shape into crescents. Bake in slow 325 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
