ORANGE FROSTED COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tbsp. grated orange rind
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in milk
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix. Sift baking powder and flour and add alternately with buttermilk. Add orange rind, vanilla and nutmeats; mix well and drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees until light brown. Cool and frost with orange flavored frosting.

FROSTING: Mix well 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons grated orange rind and 1/3 cup orange juice.
