WALNUT BOURBON BALLS 
5 pkgs. vanilla wafers, finely crushed
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. sifted confectionery sugar
1 c. finely chopped walnuts or flaked coconut
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1/3 c. bourbon
Confectioners' sugar

Mix together well, crumbs, cocoa, 1 cup sugar and walnuts. Add corn syrup and bourbon and mix well. Shape into 1" balls; roll in confectioners' sugar. Store in covered container a day or so to ripen; these keep very well. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
