COOL RISE YEAST DOUGH | |
5-6 c. flour 2 pkgs. yeast 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. oil 1 1/2 c. hot tap water 2 eggs Cooking oil 1. Combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl; stir. 2. Add oil and hot water. Stir for 2 minutes. 3. Add eggs and 1 more cup flour. Mix until elastic. 4. Stir in remaining flour. Make a soft dough which leaves sides of the bowl. 5. Turn out on floured board and knead for 5 to 10 minutes. 6. Let rest for 15 to 20 minutes on board. 7. Punch down. 8. Form into a ball and place in greased mixing bowl. 9. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 2 to 48 hours. 10. Shape into rolls or bread. Let rise. Bake at 350 degrees. |
