ALMOND COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Almonds

Roll in balls, press down with almond. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Roll in sugar and cinnamon when done. Cool. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
