1 lemon or yellow cake mix
1 box lemon pudding mix
1 c. water
4 eggs
1/4 c. oil

ICING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/8 to 1/4 c. lemon juice (to make a thick, "pourable" icing)

Mix cake mix, pudding mix, water, eggs and oil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done. While hot, pierce holes in cake with fork and pour icing over cake.

This is my sister Mabel's recipe and we are all crazy about it - so tart and so sweet - too good.
