PECAN LACE COOKIES 
butter
All-purpose flour
2 tbsp. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 c. chopped pecans

Grease baking sheets with butter and dust with flour. Cream 2 tablespoons butter, gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine 1/2 cup flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Pour in pecans. 1 teaspoon dough 3 inches apart. 400 degrees, 3 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. 3 dozen.
