1 c. shortening
4 eggs
5 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
Pinch of salt
2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar

Mix together in order given. Roll on floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
