BEEFY JALAPENO CORNBREAD 
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
4 to 5 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Grated cheese (to your taste), approx. 8 oz.
1 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. milk
1 can cream corn

Brown and drain hamburger. Mix cornmeal, salt, soda, eggs, oil, milk and cream corn. Put 1/2 cornmeal mix in 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer beef, onion, cheese, jalapenos, then top with the remaining cornmeal mix.

Cook at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes. Serve with refried beans, salad.
