APPLE CRISP 
3 med. baking apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

Lightly grease a container or oven dish. Put the apple slices on the bottom to form a layer. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon; cut in the butter. Place this mixture over the top of the apples, covering apples completely. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

Lemon Crisp: Place 3 lemons (peeled and thinly sliced) on bottom of greased baking dish. Increase brown sugar to 1 cup. Eliminate cinnamon and add 3 tablespoons lemon juice and 5 tablespoons lime juice. Mix sugar, lemon, and lime juices; pour over lemons. Blend flour and butter until well mixed. Place this mixture over lemons and juice. Cook as above.
