GRANDMA'S PEACH COBBLER 
2 c. peaches
2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. almond flavoring
3/4 c. milk
1 stick butter

Pour 1 cup sugar over sliced peaches. Combine rest of sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add flavoring and milk. Melt butter in casserole dish and fill with batter. Place peaches on top. Bake at 325 degrees for an hour. May add more fruit, if desired.
