APPLE CHEESE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sliced apples
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
20 graham crackers
1/2 c. sugar
1 cube butter, melted
4 eggs
1 c. sm. curd creamed cottage cheese
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Line a pie plate with a graham cracker paste, made by crumbling the crackers and pouring over them the cube of melted butter. Put in the apples, pared, cored and sliced very thin. Steam apples in double boiler. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and spices. Beat eggs and add cream cheese which has been strained through ricer. Add sugar, salt, sour cream and vanilla. Pour mixture over the apples and bake in a moderate, 350 degree, oven about 55 minutes.
