1 pkg. (2 layer size) yellow butter cake mix 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1/4 c. butter, softened 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts Prepare cake batter according to directions on box. Pour into greased 13x9 inch pan. Cream the cheese and eggs together. Add 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar and the butter. Pour on top of cake batter. Combine brown sugar and nuts. Sprinkle on top. Bake according to package directions for 13x9 inch pan. Cool. Cut into small squares. Place in cupcake liners. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. |
