PARKER HOUSE ROLLS 
2 tbsp. yeast
2 tbsp. sugar

Dissolve in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.

1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. heated & cooled milk
2 well beaten eggs
2 tsp. salt
6 c. flour (if dough is too soft, add a little more to handle)

Mix as usual and shape into rolls. Bake at 400 degrees.
