MICHIGAN SAUCE | |
3 tbsp. salad oil 1 lb. hamburger (ground chuck, round) 1 lg. onion, cut fine 1 clove garlic Salt & pepper to taste 1/2 tsp. red pepper, crushed (dry) (or to taste) 2 tsp. chili powder 3 sm. cans tomato paste 1 1/2 cans water 3 tbsp. sugar Place all ingredients in double boiler and cook for 2 hours. Great on hot dogs, hamburgers or by itself on a bun. |
