PERFECT APPLE PIE | |
6 c. thinly sliced, peeled apples 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1 tbsp. lemon juice Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In large bowl combine all filling ingredients. Toss light spoon apple mixture into pie crust lined pan. Top with second crust and flute; cut slits in several places. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender (place pan on foil or cookie sheet). 8 servings. |
