PERFECT APPLE PIE 
6 c. thinly sliced, peeled apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Prepare crust for a two crust pie. Heat oven to 425 degrees. In large bowl, combine all of the above ingredients. Mix lightly. Spoon into pie crust lined pan. Top with second crust and flute; cut slits in several places. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. 8 servings.
