MICROWAVE LASAGNA
1 lb. ground beef
1 jar (32 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. water
1 egg
2 c. Ricotta cheese
1/2 + tsp. pepper
8 to 9 lg. lasagna noodles (NOT cooked)
3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 c. grated Parmesan OR
1/2 c. grated Romano cheese

In a large glass bowl crumble the ground beef. Microwave on high for about 3 minutes, until the ground beef is browned. Stir well. Drain off the juices. Add the spaghetti sauce and water. In another bowl add the Ricotta cheese, egg and pepper; mix well. Into a 12 by 8 inch dish add 1/2 cup sauce, layer of noodles, 1/2 egg mixture, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 sauce. Repeat starting with the noodles. Microwave about 9 minutes on high power (covered). Next microwave at 30% (medium-low power) for 25 to 30 minutes (covered), just until the noodles are tender. Top with Parmesan or Romano cheese. Stand covered about 10 minutes or brown under conventional oven broiler.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
