TRAVELING CAKE (BUTTER CAKE) 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs or 7 med. eggs
1 tsp. extract of your choice (almond is good)
2 c. flour

Preheat oven at 325 degrees. Cream butter and add sugar VERY slowly. Add eggs one at a time beating slowly after each egg. Add extract, then add flour slowly. Bake in a Bundt or tube pan for 50-60 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool for 15 minutes before removing cake from pan.
