SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. flavoring (vanilla or almond)
1 c. sour cream
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter, sugar and flavoring until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, BEATING WELL after each. Sift flour and soda, add alternately with the sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Turn into greased and floured pan: one 10 inch tube pan; two 9 x 5 inch loaf pans or one 12 cup bundt pan and one 8 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
