QUICK FIX LOW CAL SPAGHETTI
SAUCE
 
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 1/4 c. water (or diluted condensed fatskimmed broth)
1 to 2 tsp. dried basil (or pizza seasoning)
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped fresh (or 3 tablespoon dried) onion
Optional: 1 large clove minced fresh (or 1/4 tsp. dried) garlic

Combine ingredients and mix well. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes; uncover and simmer until thick. Or cook in pressure cooker according to manufacturer's directions for seven to eight minutes. Makes 4 servings, approximately 85 calories each. Serve over hot, drained pasta.
