CHERRY POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond flavor
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 jar drained & chopped maraschino cherries
3 3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. whole milk

Do not preheat oven. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs with flavors and cherries. Add flour and milk alternating. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Put into a cold oven and bake at 275 degrees for 2 hours. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan.

Ice with cherry icing: 3 oz. cream cheese 1/2 jar maraschino cherries (left over from cake) 2 c. 10X powdered sugar 1 tsp. almond flavor 1/2 c. nuts, optional 1/2 c. coconut, optional
