CLAM DIP 
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 7-ounce can chopped clams
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
freshly ground pepper to taste

In a small microwave safe bowl, mix together cream cheese and clams. Heat in microwave for 1 minute. Stir in garlic powder and pepper. Heat in microwave for another minute. Remove and stir. Transfer to small serving dish. This dish may be served hot or cold. Serve with crackers of choice.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
