PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease tube pan. Blend oil, sugar, eggs. Add pumpkin. Add dry ingredients. Add nuts and chips. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes (if in loaf pan bake 1 hour).

Instead of chocolate chips or walnuts, any 2 cups of the following can be substituted:

2 c. chips
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
2 c. apples (very good)

Makes 2 loaf pans. Squash good also.
