BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. oil
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Sift dry ingredients together. Add sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla, then add nuts. Mix well (dough will be stiff). Spread dough in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 to 25 minutes. No more than that. Do not over bake. The dough should be very soft after it is baked. Cut into squares immediately and put on dish.
