MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. Hamburger
1/2 c. Bread Crumbs
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 Egg beaten
2 c. Tomato Juice
1/2 c. Milk
1/2 c. Shortening
2 tbsp. Flour
1/4 c. Water
1/2 c. Barbecue Sauce

In bowl with fork, toss together bread crumbs, salt, pepper, egg, milk and hamburger. Shape into balls.

Heat oven to 350°F and bake meatballs 3 minutes. Drain fat from meatballs.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan combine tomato juice and flour. Add barbecue sauce and water. Pour over meatballs.

Bake 45 minutes at 350°F.
