FRUIT FILLED DUMPLINGS (PEACHES,
PLUMS, ETC.)
 
8 oz. sm. curd cottage cheese or Philadelphia cream cheese
1/8 lb. butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. Farina
Small amount of flour

Combine and mix cheese and butter. Add eggs, Farina, and flour enough to make a soft dough. Mix well. Pinch or cut off even size pieces of dough, about the size of an egg. Pat or roll to 1/4 inch thickness. Place whole fresh peach or plum in center. Seal edges tightly. Drop into boiling water. Cover pan tightly. Boil about 10 minutes. Drain well. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs or nuts.
