TEMPURA 
BATTER:

1 egg
3/4 c. cold water
1 c. flour

Cut into small pieces any of the following or all: Prawns, any fish (sole, plaice, etc.), potatoes, onions, carrots, shitake, Lotus root, etc.

Batter: Mix egg, water, and flour. Dip the fishes and vegetables into batter. Fry them. The temperature of oil is 170 degrees C for vegetables and 180 degrees C for fishes.
