BAKED APPLES 
4 lg. baking apples (8 to 10 oz. each)
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. raisins or finely chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter, cut into 4 chunks

Core apples. Peel skin from top 1 inch of each apple. In small dish, combine brown sugar, raisins and cinnamon. Stuff each apple with an equal amount of raisin mixture. Dot top of each apple with 1 chunk of butter. Arrange apples in 9 inch square baking dish. Cover dish with plastic wrap. Microwave at High for 7 to 9 minutes, or until apples are tender, rotating dish once. Let stand for 5 minutes. Just before serving, spoon juices from bottom of baking dish over apples.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
