FRIED OKRA 
2 lb. fresh okra, sliced
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix flour, meal, salt and pepper. Roll okra in mixture. Fry in heavy frypan that has 1/2 inch hot oil. Add okra and turn heat to medium. Watch closely as will burn easily. When brown, remove and serve.
