CHERRY CHOCOLATE CHEESE PIE | |
1 (8 inch) crust, pkgd. crumb or make with chocolate wafers, crushed 1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.), softened 1 pkg. cream cheese (3 oz.), softened 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. cocoa 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chilled whipping cream Cherry pie filling Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl combine cream cheese and sugar, beat well. Blend in cocoa, scraping bowl and beaters often. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well. Blend in whipping cream. Pour into prepared crust. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Center will set as pie cools to room temperature. Chill covered for several hours or overnight. Garnish individual servings with pie filling. Dollops of whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles or shavings make a nice touch. |
