TALLY HO TOMATO PUDDING 
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. tomato puree
1/4 c. water
2 c. bread cubes, crusts removed
1/2 c. melted butter

Combine brown sugar, tomato puree and water and cook 5 minutes. While tomato mixture is cooking, put bread cubes in a casserole and pour butter over. Add tomato mixture. Bake in a 325 degree F. oven 50 minutes.

I grew up on this recipe which my mom & grandmother made for holidays...can I lighten it up ? Using splenda brown sugar & light butter or margarine.?
