10-20 lb. turkey Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste 6 slices bacon Turkey gravy (or use several turkey mix gravy pkgs.) Salt, pepper and garlic powder may be sprinkled into the cavity. Lay bacon strips on top of turkey. Bake the covered turkey at 325 degrees until turkey is cooked - do not dry it out. Pick the bones clean. Save drippings. Mix up turkey gravy and add turkey. Spoon over buns. This is great - large crowd pleaser! |
