CHINESE LONG RICE CHOP SUEY 
1 lb. lean pork, cut in strips
1/4 lb. bamboo shoots
1 lg. carrot
1/2 lb. string beans
1 lg. round onion
1/2 cauliflower
1 bundle long rice, soaked in water 20 minutes & cut up
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 sm. piece ginger, finely chopped
2 c. chicken broth
1 sm. can sliced mushrooms
1 bunch green onions

Julienne vegetables. Saute pork with garlic and ginger in pan with a little oil. Add broth and vegetables. Cook 5 minutes. Add long rice, cook another 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add green onions. Mix 1/4 cup shoyu, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoons red wine for sauce. Add sauce to chop suey. Stir well. Serve hot.
