CARAMEL CRACKER SNACK | |
1 (9 oz.) box Ritz-Bits crackers 4 c. miniature pretzels 1 c. dry roasted peanuts 1 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. light corn syrup 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine crackers, pretzels and nuts in a large greased 10x15 inch baking pan with sides. Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over crackers, etc., stir well to cover. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Scrape from pan onto waxed paper, break apart with fingers, cool, store in an airtight container. |
