APPLE ROLLS 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. grated Granny Smith apples

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and butter in a food processor until crumbly. Gradually add milk and process until dough forms a ball. turn dough into floured board and roll out to a 12 x 9 inch rectangle. Combine sugar, water, nutmeg and cinnamon in saucepan and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Stir in butter. Set aside. Spread apples evenly over the dough; roll up like a jelly roll from the long side. Cut into 12 one-inch slices and place the slices cut side down in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Pour the syrup around the slices. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm (add ice cream if desired).
