CHRISTMAS PLUM PUDDING 
1 lb. bread crumbs
1 lb. Sultanas (golden raisins)
1 lb. dark raisins
2 oz. candy peel
2 oz. cherries
1 level tsp nutmeg
1 level tsp. allspice
1 level tsp. cinnamon
1/2 pt. Guinness Stout
1/2 lb. butter
3 eggs
1/2 lb. brown sugar
Flour

Mix dry ingredients together. Blend in butter. add Stout and eggs. Form into shape and dry with flour as needed. Put into greased Pyrex bowl. Cover with wax paper and a cloth well tied. Steam in a pot of water for 6 hours or for 2 1/2 hours in pressure cooker.
