1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. chopped gum drops, spiced
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves

Cream shortening with sugars. Add eggs; blend. Add dry ingredients with milk. Add cut spiced gum drops and vanilla. Drop. Bake at 350 degrees.
