CRANBERRY CAKE 
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. cranberries

Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Add water, evaporated milk, flour, salt and soda (mixing well). Fold in cranberries. Pour into a 9x13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

CRANBERRY TOPPING:

1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 capful vanilla

Bring all ingredients to a boil. Remove from heat and serve hot over cake.
