1/2 c. soft butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 yellow cake mix
(Frosting is optional)

Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add egg, vanilla and cake mix. Mix together, batter will be doughy. Chill 30 minutes. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until slightly brown on bottom. Let cool on sheet before removing. Frost when completely cool.
