WILD RICE CASSEROLE 
1 c. wild rice (I use UNCLE BEN'S® long grain & wild rice mixture)
3 c. boiling water
1 can consomme
1/2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf, crushed
2 cans mushrooms & liquid (4 oz. cans)
2 cans cream of chicken soup, undiluted
6 tbsp. chopped onion
4 tbsp. oil
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
Pinch of thyme
1 bunch parsley or 2 tbsp. dried flakes
1/4 tsp. each celery salt, onion salt, poultry seasoning, garlic salt, paprika, pepper & Accent

Do not use the rice mixture envelope or it will be too salty.

Pour boiling water over rice and let stand 15 minutes. Add other ingredients. Brown onions and hamburger in oil and add to mixture. Put together the day before and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Bake for 3 hours at 350 degrees. Keep covered for 3/4 of baking time.

Makes a lot, it is great for a big group.
