BAKED IN STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. sliced strawberries

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

In medium mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk together with beaten egg. Stir in melted butter and sliced strawberries. Pour mixture into a greased baking pan.

For Crumb Topping, combine flour, sugar and walnuts. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle crumb mixture over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve immediately.
