SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE 
5 oz. spaghetti
1 lb. Italian sausage or hamburger
1 med. onion, chopped
1 1/2-2 lbs. spaghetti sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (4 oz.)
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (optional)

Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, crumble meat in a saucepan. Stir in onion; cook until no pink remains and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in sauce, mushrooms (if desired), chili powder, and pepper.

layer half of the spaghetti in a 10x6x2 baking dish, then top with half of the meat. Repeat layers. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
