CARAMEL RAISIN PUDDING 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. milk

TOPPING:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. boiling water

Sift flour and add sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix together. Stir in raisins and milk. Pour batter into well greased deep casserole (to keep sugar from bubbling over). Mix brown sugar, water, and butter. Pour over batter. Bake in moderate oven (350 to 375 degrees) for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve either warm or cold. Serves 8.
