DANDELION WINE 
3 qts. dandelion blossoms
4 qts. boiling water
3 lemons
3 1/2 lbs. sugar

Pour boiling water over blossoms. Let stand all night. Strain through cheese cloth and add sliced lemons and sugar. Warm over low heat until sugar is melted. Let stand in warm place for 2 weeks, stir often. Strain again through cheese cloth and bottle. If you think this hasn't worked, let sit a few days longer before bottling. Makes about 6 quarts. This recipe is over 150 years old.
