1 can pie filling, your choice
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (Jiffy)
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. pecans, halved or crushed (optional)

Fill 9 x 9 inch pan with pie filling. Layer cake mix on top (NOT prepared) then pour butter on top of cake mix. Top with pecans.

In the South this is called "FLANG" because you can "flang" it together right before company arrives.
