CHICKEN CACCIATORE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti 1 can sliced mushrooms 1 sm. onion, thinly sliced 1/4 c. butter 1 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 c. chicken broth 1/2 c. whipping cream 3 1/2 c. chicken, cooked & diced 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Cook spaghetti. Saute onions and mushrooms in butter. Add flour, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add broth, continue stirring constantly over medium heat. Add cream; mix well; add chicken. Combine sauce and spaghetti in baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Add cheese on top and bake for 5 more minutes. |
