SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 cup raisins
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 egg yolk
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 baked pie shell
3 egg whites*
6 tbsp sugar*

*Beat and make meringue.

Barely cover raisins with water and simmer until dissolved and water is nearly evaporated. Dissolve starch in 2 Tbsp cold water and add sugar and stir until dissolved. Cook until thick. Add egg yolks and cook over low heat 5 minutes. Stir constantly. Add sour cream and vanilla. Pour into pie shell and top with meringue. Brown in oven.
