BEEFY SPANISH RICE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped (optional)
1 minced garlic clove or garlic powder
2-3 sm. cans tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
4-5 tsp. hot red pepper sauce (to taste)
2 c. uncooked rice

Cook rice according to package directions. Fluff and set aside. Brown ground beef with onion, green pepper, garlic, salt and pepper. Drain fat. Add cooked rice and mix. Add tomato sauce until desired mixture of sauce to rice is achieved. The consistency can be fairly dry or fairly moist, depending on amount of tomato sauce used. Add hot pepper sauce slowly until you have desired degree of hotness. Add more salt and pepper as needed.
