CABBAGE BEEF ROLLUPS | |
2 lbs. ground beef 2 c. rice 1/3 c. chopped onion 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 can stewed tomatoes 1 lg. paste 1 lg. tomato 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 med. cabbage Combine beef, rice, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika and half the tomato sauce and mix well. Steam cabbage leaves until limp or boil in hot water for 5 minutes. Fold leaves in half. Place a portion of meat mixture at stem end of each cabbage leaf and roll up. Add remaining tomato sauce. Recipe can be cut in half. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or 400 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. |
